- What is microchanneling and how does it work?

Here at Premium Personal Laser, we use ProCell Therapies’ microchanneling technology, which was designed by Dermatologist, Dr. Mitchell Schwartz. It uses a device that encompasses a linear stamping technique to create hundreds of thousands of clean, uniform, and consistent ‘microchannels’ in the skin to stimulate the body’s natural healing process. We also use an anti-aging serum throughout the treatment and post treatment. - Are micro-needling & microchanneling the same thing?
Microchanneling is the next evolution of microneedling. The type of device that is used to deliver the treatment is very different. A microchanneling device uses a linear stamping technique and does not drag on the skin. A microneedling device uses a dermaroller, which is covered in tiny needles, and are gently dragged over the skin. Microneedling treatments are longer (60-90 minutes) are suitable for only the face and only some skin types. Microchanneling treatments are quicker (15-30 minutes) and are suitable for all skin types and areas of the body. - What is the recovery time after treatment?
This differs from person to person. While some experience no downtime, the typical recovery time after one of our microchanneling treatments is 60 to 90 minutes. This is much quicker than microneedling treatments, which can take 3-4 days to recover from. Our microchanneling device’s linear stamping technique results in clean, consistent microchannels on the face and body, which causes less tissue damage. As a result, our client’s experience less inflammation which means less downtime and less discomfort experienced during treatment.
- Does microchanneling hurt?
This is a minimally invasive skin procedure and the level of discomfort (if any) differs from person to person. Using ProCell for our microchanneling treatments results in less inflammation which in turn results in less discomfort for our clients. Numbing is often not required prior to treatment.
- How many treatments do I need?
The number of treatments needed are low, however they do vary from person to person and depend on what skin issue is being treated and the size of the treatment area. A consultation is required to determine the optimal number of sessions needed.
- When will I start to see results?
With our technology, and depending on the area being treated, our clients may visibly see results one week after their first session. Results vary from person to person, and the timeframe for full results will be determined during a consultation.
- How do I prepare for microchanneling and care for myself after treatments?
We provide all our clients with pre-treatment instructions in advance of their appointment, and post-treatment care instructions following their completed service.
- What happens during my consultation?
During your consultation with a certified and trained Premium Personal Laser technician, they will thoroughly assess the areas and skin conditions where face needling or microchanneling treatments are desired. - Are your consultations free?

Payment is collected at the time of your treatment at our spa. We accept VISA, MasterCard,VISA/Debit, cash, debit or etransfer. If booking a package, full payment is due upfront at the time of purchase, whether you purchase online via our website, by phone or in person. - What is your cancellation policy?
We have a 24-hour cancellation policy in effect at our laser and beauty spa for consultations and appointments. If you cancel less than 24 hours to your treatment appointment, no refund will be given. - Do you take walk-in appointments?
Our treatments are by appointment only. To ensure our clients received full privacy and comfort, we do not offer walk-in appointments or consultations. Visit our contact page for our hours of operation. - Can I use my cell phone during treatment?
Cell phone use is not permitted during any treatment or service at Premium Personal Laser. This includes, but is not limited to, talking on the phone, texting, surfing the internet, playing games via apps, recording videos, or taking pictures of any service in progress.
