*While many of our clients experience excellent results, they do vary from person to person as they depend on an individual’s unique health situation.
We use SharpLight’s factional laser technology at Premium Personal Laser. It produces a micro epidermal peel, which through a thermo-mechanical reaction, removes the problematic areas on the top layer of the skin. Depending on the client’s skin goals and expectations, the laser energy can be adjusted to different strengths to affect varying depths. This technology is unique because it ablates only a ‘fraction’ of the skin. It does this by ablating micro-columns in the skin, and since the columns are separated by healthy tissue, this speeds up a client’s recovery period. Following the ablation, the body’s naturally healing process replaces old and damaged skin with new structurally correct healthy tissue.
Our technology safely and effectively treats scars from cuts, sores and burns, acne scars, injury scars, c-sections scars, surgical scars and even chicken pox scars.
While these treatments are suitable for a wide variety of skin types, a consultation is needed to determine if this type of treatment is suitable for a client.
Levels of discomfort vary from person to person and depends on the size of and area being treated.
Treatments commonly take 20-40 minutes depending on the size of the area being treated.
Within 3 to 4 days peeling occurs on the treated areas, with full healing typically occurring within 7 days of treatment.
While results are apparent after the first treatment (and every treatment), we often recommend a minimum of 3 treatments (spaced every 4 weeks) to achieve visibly clear results. For example, if treating post acne scars, approximately 3 treatments are required. A consultation is required to determine the optimal treatment plan.
Results are long lasting and can last several years.
Within 3 to 4 days peeling occurs on the treated areas, with full healing typically occurring within 7 days of treatment.
We provide all our clients with pre-treatment instructions in advance of their appointment, and post-treatment care instructions following their completed service.
